The SeeSnake Plus features an inspection camera that locates and investigates line problems such as root intrusion, poorly made connections or earth settlement that can cause breaks. Using this diagnostic tool, we can identify the problem and show you the exact location prior to excavation. We record all camera inspections on VHS which can be converted to DVD. As the recordings have audio capabilities, we routinely talk through the inspections so you understand what you are seeing. The recording also includes the date and a running display of the distance travelled to the location of the problem. We clearly mark where the problem is located and use that mark to identify if there are any utilities in the area. The versatile 325 foot SeaSnake Plus detects problems in 3-inch and 4-inch main drains and can be used for up to 8-inch city laterals. Our Mini SeeSnake Plus is used for 2-inch laterals up to 100 feet.
Goldak Combination Leak Detector and Pipe Locating System is an underground leak locating kit ideal for residential and commercial slab leaks and determining the location and depth of pipes. The detector’s sensitive meter displays microphone response and features wide-range controls to adjust amplifier gain, meter sensitivity and filter frequency. For more than seventy years, Goldak has consistently developed ground breaking products that eventually become industry standards.
We are one of only a few contractors in San Diego with PipeBursting Technology. This very specialized piece of equipment frequently eliminates the need to demolish expensive landscaping, walkways and driveways in order to remove the damaged drain line and replace it with new ABS piping. With PipeBurst, we only have to dig in two places - one hole at each end of the run. We then pull a high density constructed plastic pipe called STR-17 directly through the entire length of existing damaged piping, bursting it in the process.
